I usually read the news (Engadget, Cnet, etc), how long depends on stories. I make sure it is at 100% before I got to bed. I don't put my phone on a charger overnight. It is certainly IMO a really great phone. I was a bit disappointed by the battery life, but I got around it and my daily "required" use hasn't affected at all. LG keyboard was good but recent updates have screwed it, so I'm back to using Swiftkey's.Overall I should say I'm satisfied with phone. The other problem with the display is the phone does heat up frequently, sometimes during long calls which makes me uncomfortable. That said the auto brightness does work pretty well and I need only charge once a day on average use. And the fact that using more display will eat up the battery drastically is something I guess no one would like. I'm a heavy user, I like to browse the Internet on the move.

Plus it is the main culprit for the meagre battery life. Of course it is gorgeous and all, 4K video looks incredibly sharp, but really there's no real 4K content out there. And everything else just works.Display, the main selling point of the phone, is a bit of an overkill.

There are some really nice OS features too, customization is pretty good that I didn't find much difference from the Cyanogenmod in the Oneplus One I love the knock code and the clip tray, features that should be backed in to Android I feel.

I actually like the back buttons I can now easily adjust the volume by just clicking on the back volume buttons from outside the pocket.

#PROCSSOR IN LG3 SOFTWARE#
G3 is simply a stunner, hats of to LG for cramming the 5.5in screen on a form factor that's actually easy to use and also toning down the software to the bare minimum which is a big relief. I was one of those guys who went for G3 because I didn't get invites to buy the Oneplus One. I also know that almost the 99% of the people who wants a new smartphone will go with the iPhone 6 but let me tell you that this phone has like 60% more features than the iPhone 6/plus, just do a quick comparison and you'll be amazed on how well LG has made this innovative device. So for one last time: BUY THIS PHONE, you won't regret it at all. It's simply amazing on all aspects, if you don't think it's as good as other phone then just listen/read/watch all the reviews around the internet! It has been pretty well received. I bought the LG G3 in the 25th of September and after tons of other phone I've bought in my entire life I can easily say that this smartphone is the best I've owned.Amazing 4K display, all my photos, videos and everything look nice and crisp.Really good camera that stands out in bright areas, you can barely notice the pixels when you zoom in.The size and weight are perfect, it fits perfectly in my hands and it weighs nothing.Battery is life is pretty good considering the features, specially the 4K screen, it lasts for a good 7-8 hours when you are using it continuously. The look of the phone is really pretty, much more than the iPhone 6.Android OS, nothing else to add.Ability to add an external micro SD card up to 128GB, remember to add a class 10 SD card though.Pretty fast in terms of performance (Opening apps, multi-tasking etc.)I could add more but these are the best features I could think of.So, to sum up, buy this phone. The virus include random calls and taking me to random stupid sites and bringing me to scummy apps that no one likes. Oh yeah and i forgot this thing is a virus whore there was nothing i could do to get rid of them except a factory reset. So all in all maybe i had a dysfunctional phone or its just garbage but i picked up a iphone 5s and called her a day because i never have any problems with iphones they are just well designed. now about 3 weeks later the phone just started going on and off on and off at this point it was not working at all i couldn't even get into my phone.

somehow with a good case on it the screen shattered from literally probly 1 and a half feet and of course it only cost like 250 for a new screen was not thrilled at all on that as i take great care of my stuff.this past month for no reason what so ever it decided that it would shut on and off completly randomly when im in a call or anything this was extremely frustrating it would happen about ever 15 mins the phone would restart. Well i had this phone because i wanted to try out android for once and from the first few days it was awesome screen res was amazing i was very satisfied then i noticed it started to lag everytime i swiped over and when im signing in it got fairly annoying having this phone for about 6 months.
